CAPI / Conversion Tracking
What it does
Section titled “What it does”Reports player conversions to your ad platforms server-side — sent straight from Legion to each platform’s Conversions API instead of relying only on a browser pixel. This keeps conversion tracking working even when a player’s browser blocks or drops the client-side pixel. Three providers are supported — Meta (Facebook) Conversions API, TikTok Events API, and Google Analytics 4 (Measurement Protocol) — and each one uses your own credentials.

Common tasks
Section titled “Common tasks”Each provider is its own card with its own Save, so setting up one doesn’t touch the others.
- Find the provider card you want to set up (Meta, TikTok, or GA4).
- Enter the provider’s ID field(s) — see What each provider needs below.
- Paste the access token or API secret into the secret field.
- Turn on the Enabled switch.
- Click Save on that card.
What each provider needs
Section titled “What each provider needs”- Meta (Facebook) Conversions API — Pixel / Dataset ID (required) and an access token from Meta Events Manager. Optionally, a Graph API version (e.g.
v21.0) and a test event code. - TikTok Events API — Pixel Code (required) and an access token from TikTok Events Manager. Optionally, a test event code.
- Google Analytics 4 (Measurement Protocol) — Measurement ID (
G-XXXX, required) and a Measurement Protocol API secret.
You can only switch a provider on once it has both its required ID and a stored secret. If either is missing when you enable it, Save is rejected and the page tells you which one to add.
About the secret
Section titled “About the secret”The access token / API secret is stored encrypted and is never shown again after you save. A saved secret shows in the field as •••••••• (stored).
- To keep the current secret, leave the field blank when you save other changes.
- To replace it, type a new value and save.
- To remove it, tick Clear the stored secret and save. A provider with no secret can’t be enabled.
